Another Pole for Antonelli!
The Championship Leader delivered once more in qualifying, making it a hat-trick in the last 3 races

Antonelli making Pole a a habit
It's a third Pole Position in a row for Kimi Antonelli. Making him part of a very special group alongside 2 other drivers who after taking their first Pole Position in F1, took the next 2 in the following 2 races. Those drivers being Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher, 2 of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time. A sign of the career ahead for Antonelli maybe? After seeing his Championship lead cut down by a couple points after the Sprint Race, the Italian will be hopeful to put some distance between him and his teammate George Russell, who will the start the Grand Prix from 5th. Another disappointing result for the favourite to win the Championship.

Verstappen completes the front row
The first few races proved very poorly for Max Verstappen, who only managed 12 points in the opening 3 races, and was losing his teammate qualifying head-to-head with Isack Hadjar 2-1. But Miami upgrades on the Red Bull seem to have brought Max right back to the front, after a strong qualifying sees him start the Grand Prix 2nd. The Dutchman will be licking his lips at the idea of another poor start for Kimi Antonelli, although he's also suffered a few slow starts in previous races. Red Bull have become the second team to introduce a 'macarena' rear wing first used by Ferrari, which is a possible big reason for Red Bulls big improvement.

Career best Qualifying for Colapinto
Franco Colapinto continues to enjoy strong performances in Miami this year, qualifying P8, the highest he has ever in Formula 1. He also out-qualifies his teammate Pierre Gasly for the first time in Grand Prix qualifying. Alpine will start the Grand Prix with both drivers in the exact same place they were for the Sprint. With Colapinto 8th and Gasly 10th. The team hopeful of going ahead of Haas for 5th, with the teams split by just a single point currently.

Audi manage to get both cars to qualify! Kind of...
Following a disastrous sprint race, there was a real danger of Audi not seeing either of their car take to the track in Qualifying. However after very impressive work from the mechanics, Hulkenberg was able to take part from the start of Q1. It was much closer for Bortoleto, but he was able to get out to complete a lap, however after being 2 seconds slower than the rest on his single lap, his Audi also suffered a fire to it's power unit, leaving him stranded, and delaying Q2. His teammate Hulkenberg didn't suffer any issues though, and qualified 11th. The team will be desperate for a race with no issues as they chase their 2nd points of the season.
