Bahrain and Saudi Arabian GPs not to take place in April
No Formula 1 event to take place in April after FIA choose not to have the Bahrain or Saudi Arabian Grand Prix's go ahead

The FIA have confirmed that the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix 'will not take place in April.' Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. In the statement, the FIA said alternatives were considered but ultimately decided that 'no substitutions will be made in April.' The Formula 2, Formula 3 and F1 Academy races will also not take place.
Throughout the statement, the FIA never said the event was 'cancelled', possibly leaving the door open to a re-scheduling of the events, if tensions in the Middle East cool down. Later in the year the Qatar and Abu Dhabi races could also be at risk of cancellation however, if tensions are still high.
