Jonathan Wheatley leaves Audi 

It's been announced today that Jonathan Wheatley will depart from his role as Team Principle of Audi with immediate effect. Wheatley joined the Audi project in April 2024 when they were Kick Sauber, taking charge as Team Principle in 2025. But just 2 races into the Audi era, Wheatley has left his role, with Head of Audi F1 project and former Ferrari Team Principle Mattia Binotto taking over. This departure adds further fuel to the story from the last couple days that Adrian Newey may step down as Aston Martin team Principle to focus on the technical side. With the rumours all saying Jonathan Wheatley would be the man to replace Newey as Team Principle for Aston Martin.
